The reunion - get together of the 1969 SSC Batch of the SIES School was held at the High School on 24th February, 2008 as part of the Platinum Jubilee of the SIES. About 60 students gathered along with several teachers who taught them. Prominent amongst them was Shri. K. R. Krishnan who taught them mathematics. He conducted a 'reunion mathematics class' for the benefit of the students to bring back their fond memories. It was a memorable get-together for those who assembled and an opportunity lost for those who could not be present. The meeting was followed by lunch. The SIES also invites other students to visit the school and recollect their memories by meeting with their teachers.
